The Polysyn Undyed Braided Suture, Size 2/0, 27” (70 cm), PS-2 Needle is a synthetic absorbable suture designed for secure and efficient wound closure. Made from a polyglycolic acid-based copolymer, it ensures predictable absorption and sustained tensile strength during the critical wound healing phase. The undyed configuration is particularly suitable for procedures where minimal visibility of the suture is desired.

Equipped with a PS-2 Precision Reverse Cutting Needle, this suture is specifically engineered for applications requiring high precision and minimal tissue trauma. The reverse cutting design provides superior penetration through tough, fibrous tissues while reducing the risk of tearing. The 3/8 circle, 19 mm needle offers excellent maneuverability, making it ideal for various surgical applications.

The Polysyn 2/0 suture retains 50% of its tensile strength at two weeks and 20% at three weeks, ensuring adequate tissue support during early healing. Complete mass absorption occurs within 50 to 90 days, eliminating the need for removal while facilitating tissue regeneration.
